![]() I might try it for ♥♥♥♥♥ and giggles after I've completed my Nightmare run, though this meme run has one other glaring problem. Just run it all down, blasting away not giving a crap. That being said, if you pull it off, I'm pretty sure you'd be able to run most maps from start to finish in constant contact without gaining any trauma points. You'd probably need to spend a long time post mission 3 but pre mission 5 just passing days away to promote your entire squad and roll the dice for new marines so you get enough Sarges. If you have 1 Sarge, 1 Gunner, 1 Recon, 0 Tech, 0 Medic, you're almost guaranteed the next promotion offered to you will be Tech/Medic. Dark Descent biases promotions towards your lowest class quantity. The biggest problem is getting it off the ground. That much CP with insane recharge speed means you can shotgun, grenade, torch, mine and RPG any problem that crosses your path. Get yourself the 4x team spirit going on and that's 10 CP. All Sarges with a fully buffed backpack on top of their medals means you've got 8 CP out of the gate with -50 second recharge time. If Reprimand gave the squad 50 bravery you'd still be able to reach stress immunity for the duration that it's up - You'd just have to build into. The problem is Reprimand, so change the skill to be less insane and the problem solves itself. The worst part of all this, is that a 5x Sarge squad would be perfectly viable so long as one has Smartass for hacking. Bravery is fine as a stat, stress reduction is a nice buff in concept. If it DOES stack, which there is nothing saying it doesn't, then the ability from 5x Sarges would make for a flat 50 on top of each marine's 25 base, for 75 in a full Sarge squad. If no stacking of abilities occurs, you're probably looking at 40 base bravery, assuming a full squad of Sarges. Sarge can get medals, bringing theirs up to 40. Lead your soldiers in real-time to stop a new and terrifying kind of Xenomorph outbreak on Planet Lethe. Having a Sarge imparts an extra 10 to the whole squad, bringing it up to 35. Drop into the gripping journey of Aliens: Dark Descent, a squad-based, single-player action game in the iconic Alien franchise. Baseline, your squad can have 25 bravery. Bold gives 5, with each level up to level 3 giving an additional 5, for 15 at level 3. Suppressive fire is not shoot to miss in this game it just unloads a lot of ammo at target so I noticed that if i setup two marines on suppressive it mows a lot of stuff down that is coming in.īut yah that smart gun is suppose to auto target so it should give huge bounce to hit, I would think it could still miss sometimes sense its shooting so quickly, but the machine gun smart gun should do both suppressive fire and have high hit ratio. Each squaddie has 10 bravery default. Suppressive fire is basically shooting to miss. I mean, it should be hitting seeing as the gun targets enemies by itself. Suppressive fire is also the opposite of what I'd expect this thing to do. it's autoaiming for you, so you dont have to. Agree, thats why its called a "Smart gun". That's the opposite of what I'd expect this thing to do. Get Aliens: Dark Descent now on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series XS, Xbox One and PC. Getting a bonus by targeting a specific enemy seems a little odd. ![]() Not terrible, but the smartgun should be auto-targeting enemies with almost 100% accuracy. I guess the sentry thing is taking the place of regular auto-aim in this. They are good to have on any team really. so they tend to hit more overall.Īlso you can transform their gun into a sentry on demand. A new update has been released for Aliens: Dark Descent Update 1.005. Jun 22 7:19pm Is the game possible on Nightmare and No One can Hear you scream first playthrough Is there. Aliens: Dark Descent > General Discussions > Topic Details. Originally posted by Batailleuse:it's roughly on par with the pulse rifle damage wise, but you do have 50% more bullet per magazine (and magazine do matter in this game), but the class itself (gunner) get an upgraded suppressive fire for the team (slows even more), and you get +10 precision when you manually target things.
